Rev. Morris Matthis – District Superintendent
Rev. Morris Matthis currently serves as District Superintendent (DS) for the Central North District. The primary role of a DS is to serve as the Mission Field Strategist identifying opportunities for new and expanded ministries, deepening the impact of the UMC in the communities we serve, and empowering pastors and churches for ministry.
Pat Travers – District Administrative Assistant
Pat Travers is the Administrative Assistant for the Central North District. She has served as an Administrative Assistant for two Districts since 2004 previously at the Northwest District in Tyler. She and her husband Lee have two adult children and 5 grandchildren and are fortunate to live close by and attend their activities in the area.
